Tim studied environmental science and math at WWU, and was also a member of the Honors Program. Of all he loved about Western, he especially appreciated the many opportunities available for students who have the initiative to work hard and take advantage of those opportunities. He was excited to travel and do research for his summer internship with NOAA at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Massachusetts, where he recorded surface currents and drifter tracks.

What are they up to now
After graduating, Anderson studied physics and engineering at Portland Community College, and worked as a wetlands field technician, a substitute teacher, and an engineering technician.
