Nathan Bucker

Nathan spent much of their life studying, tutoring, and now teaching German. They spent the summer in Austria through the Indiana University Honors Program for Foreign Language and spent three months studying abroad in Germany before applying for the 2022 Fulbright. Nathan holds poetry very near to their heart and planned to exchange their favorite American poems (by the likes of Emily Dickinson, Ernest Hemingway, and Walt Whitman) with their students, as well as working to publish a book of their students’ poems. In their spare time they are an avid runner.
